Eight academics from ½ñÈÕ¿´ÁÏ³Ô¹Ï are among 94 new members appointed to the Australian Research Council (ARC) 2023 College of Experts panel.
Among the new appointments is ½ñÈÕ¿´ÁϳԹÏPro-Vice-Chancellor (Indigenous Engagement) Professor Bronwyn Fredericks.
There are now 23 ½ñÈÕ¿´ÁϳԹÏexperts among the 269 College panel members, who assess research proposals for funding under the National Competitive Grants Program (NCGP).
The panel identify research excellence, moderate external assessments of grant proposals, and recommend projects to be funded.
The ARC College of Experts is made up of a wide range of experienced and highly qualified people of international standing, drawn from academia, industry and public sector research organisations.
